Artist Statement: The inspiration for this piece comes from Seattle’s fashion and atmosphere. I wanted to communicate a comfortable but dreary feeling from a 3rd person’s view. This medium was challenging because I don’t usually paint with acrylic. 

Artist Statement: I wasnt sure what to make, so I came up with an alien.
Through this piece, I learned that I need to score deeper, because the eye came off initially. I’m excited to make more projects and learn new techniques when I have time.

Artist Statement: Turkish tulip vase in the style of Iznik pottery, and plate inspired by Kyrgyz shyrdaks.
